    The&nbsp; development&nbsp; goal&nbsp; is&nbsp; intelligent&nbsp; devices&nbsp; for&nbsp; the&nbsp;
    treatment&nbsp; of&nbsp; epilepsy&nbsp; in&nbsp; an&nbsp; interdisciplinary&nbsp; setup.&nbsp; <br>
    <br>
    The&nbsp; specific&nbsp; tasks&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; project&nbsp; will&nbsp; be:<br>
    <br>
    1. Analysis&nbsp; of&nbsp; intracranial&nbsp; long-term&nbsp; EEG&nbsp; registrations.<br>
    <br>
    2. Software&nbsp; implementation&nbsp; of&nbsp; established&nbsp; and&nbsp; new&nbsp; pattern&nbsp;
    detection&nbsp; methods.<br>
    <br>
    3. Optimization&nbsp; of&nbsp; algorithms&nbsp; with&nbsp; respect&nbsp; to&nbsp; early&nbsp; event&nbsp;
    detection,&nbsp; complexity&nbsp; and&nbsp; energy&nbsp; consumption.<br>
    <br>
    4. Integration&nbsp; of&nbsp; analysis&nbsp; methods&nbsp; in&nbsp; intelligent&nbsp;
    classificators,<br>
    <br>
    Preferred&nbsp; platforms&nbsp; for&nbsp; software&nbsp; implementation:&nbsp; C++,&nbsp; Matlab<br>
    <br>
    The&nbsp; position&nbsp; is&nbsp; initially&nbsp; limited&nbsp; to&nbsp; one&nbsp; year&nbsp; and&nbsp; may&nbsp; be&nbsp;
    extended&nbsp; by&nbsp; up&nbsp; to&nbsp; three&nbsp; years,&nbsp; subject&nbsp; to&nbsp; funding&nbsp; and&nbsp;
    continuation&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; project.<br>
