ICLabel is a plugin for EEGLAB that automates the classification of independent components in EEG data to identify brain and non-brain ICA components.

The recent release of ICLabel version 1.5 on February 10th, 2024, introduced an issue where electrode positions were mistakenly rotated, resulting in inaccurate classification of eye components. This problem has been corrected in the subsequent ICLabel version 1.6. We recommend all users currently on version 1.5 to upgrade ICLabel to version 1.6. It's important to note that if you're not utilizing the latest version of EEGLAB, there's no requirement to update it for this fix. Only the ICLabel plugin needs to be updated using the EEGLAB plugin manager.

Thank you for your continued support and for using EEGLAB,
