Spatial navigation
As a preface to the up-coming reality of mobile EEG, this task employed a virtual tunnel flow that was presented on a computer screen to subjects who were required to point back to their initial starting position at the end of each tunnel.
We have been able to differentiate several clusters of independent components of the EEG that exhibit differential time/frequency activity during left and right turns, and/or turns with various angles. Since all subjects exhibit unique fundamental frequencies, we first warped each subject's time/frequency image so that their peak mean ¨alpha¨ band frequency would be locked at 10 Hz.
