PhD, Syracuse University, 2008.
My research interests are in the areas of:
- Smart and mobile health care
- Internet of things (IoT) enabled systems
- Evolutionary algorithms and artificial intelligence
- Wireless communications and signal processing
My current research is focused on designing novel data mining techniques, mobile health tools, and signal processing algorithms for solving emerging problems in smart and mobile health care. Specific problems of interest include fall prediction for aging adults and design of pervasive monitoring systems for persons with chronic illness. My recent research has involved design of wearable sensors and mobile health tools for effective self management of symptoms for persons with Parkinson’s disease.
I am open to collaborative research projects in these areas. If my research is of interest to you, don’t hesitate to reach out.
