The largest ICA component, P3b, resembles the P300 response to
visual oddball targets in paradigms not involving button presses.
The ICA P3b component map can be modeled very nearly by a single inferior
cortical dipole (residual variance < 4.5%), though single-trial ICA
decompositions suggest this ERP component is actually the sum of
more local scalp projections of at least 5 classes of EEG components.
