[Eeglablist] Post-doc Position and Direction of ERPs laboratory in South-America

The Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory from Universidad Diego Portales (
http://neuro.udp.cl/) is offering a Postdoctoral Position in the area of
ERPs studies (social affective neuroscience, contextual affects studies
desired but not required) in Santiago de Chile, South America; beginning
2009.



The research position aims to coordinate the current experiments and propose
other in similar fields. The postdoctoral scientist will be highly motivated
and will be able to assume the future Direction of Lab, in collaboration
with the current director.



The laboratory is equipped with a high density EGIs GES300 system (129
channels), sound-isolated faraday chamber, physiological measures (BIOPAC
system) and RTs computers.



Candidates should have a PhD degree or equivalent, and experience at least
in two of the following topics:



-       Preparation and conduct of cognitive experiments (desired but not
required social, contextual or affective process)

-       Recording and analysis of EEG and ERPs

-       Digital signal processing and statistical analysis

-       Theoretical models from social cognition, social neuroscience,
affective processing or contextual clues

-       Excellent writing skills



The position will be for one year with a following application for Director
of the Laboratory. Salary will be commensurable with experience. Review of
