[Eeglablist] slow frequency drift

Actually, if you are using the latest version of the EEGLAB, you should
have a plugin manager... check your leftmost tab and near bottom items in
EEGLAB main GUI. If you do have it I recommend you stick to it (you should
be able to find SIFT in the plugin list you can automatically download and
set up) and don't edit your plugin folders yourself (which can cause minor
troubles).
