Brain bases of social impairment in autism -- Postdoctoral Position
University of Washington Autism Center, University of Washington

Post-doctoral position available (based on funding) to examine the 
brain bases of social impairment in infants and children with autism. 
This project seeks to identify electrophysiological correlates of 
social cognition in infants at risk for autism or young children with 
autism using event related brain potentials and EEG. The UW Autism 
Center involves scientists from several different disciplines who are 
working collaboratively to discover the cause of autism and develop 
effective treatments. The research program will be part of a larger 
network of research projects funded by the NIH. The successful 
candidate will have a Ph.D. in clinical, developmental, or cognitive 
psychology with a background in working with developmental populations.

Tentative start date for position - Summer or Fall 2007.
