_Job description_: An opening of two-year postdoctoral research 
associate position is available at the MEG Center, in the University of 
California at San Diego (UCSD). This position is supported by an 
NIH-funded joint research project between the Department of Cognitive 
Science (Dr. Ramesh Srinivasan) in the University California at Irvine 
(UCI) and the Department of Radiology (Dr. Mingxiong Huang) in the UCSD. 
The principal duties of this position are to assist in: 1) programming 
experiment and acquiring MEG and EEG data; 2) developing new MEG-EEG 
data analysis methods; 3) performing MEG-EEG data analysis; 4) 
integrating MEG-EEG data with structural MRI and behavioral data; 5) 
trouble shooting the MEG and EEG systems; and 6) providing computer 
programming support to other co-workers. The UCSD MEG Center, in the 
UCSD Radiology Imaging Laboratory, is a leading lab on MEG research and 
clinical MEG service with international reputations.

_Skills required: _1) A Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, 
biomedical physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, 
computer science, neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, or equivalent is 
required. 2) Strong computer programming skills using MATLAB, C/C++ is 
required. 3) Strong experience with LINUX/UNIX is required. 4) 
Experience with MEG, EEG, and MRI are preferred. Especially, candidates 
with previous experience in the forward and inverse modeling of MEG/EEG 
data are encouraged to apply. 5) Knowledge and experience in human brain 
function (especially human visual system) and brain anatomy are 
preferred. 6) Experience using FSL, Freesurfer, SPM, and/or Neuromag 
software packages is preferred. 7) Experience with Presentation, 
NeuroStim, E-Prime, SPSS is preferred. 8) Experience trouble shooting 
electronic device is preferred. 9) Good communication skills in English 
are required.
