We used Scan4.3 to acquire and we used 32-bit on the import screen.
That should be Ok, right?
thanks

If you acquired the CNTs using an old version of Scan, use 16-bit on the import screen; if a newer version of Scan, use 32-bit. Mixing up those two does produce odd scaling problems.
Best,
Andrew

Hi all,
we have been trying to do some analysis on 64-channel SynAmp2 Neuroscan auditory oddball data in EEGLAB. First we tried to import the .CNT files and it looked like everything was working ok, but we discovered that the scaling was off because when we tried to filter & artrej the data would go missing. For e.g we tried "channel scroll" and there was no data to view.
We tried to import the *.EEG files instead and these epoched files looked different than they did in the Neuroscan EDIT software. We find that the latencies and amplitudes of the peaks are different than when the same data is averaged in EDIT.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or are we doing something wrong? Any help would be great,
thanks a lot
Deirdre
