Dear EEGLABers,
I am interested in using false discovery rate (FDR) to control for
multiple comparisons and have a couple of questions:
1) What is the version of FDR control used by EEGLAB's fdr.m (written by
Delorme & Nichols). Could you give me a citation?
2) FDR correction assumes that the measurements in each comparison are
independent or "positively dependent." What does "positively dependent"
mean? I am applying FDR correction to EEG data and the results of the
different comparisons are surely not independent. Are they likely to be
positively dependent?
thank you for your time,
Wambua
