[Eeglablist] Spike exporting to eeglab

Thank you for your suggestion Ehsan, but can you elaborate? I'm starting to
think the the problem I'm having isn't importing the file to Matlab, but
rather my problem is getting eeglab to open it from Matlab.

Using the following point-and-click commands in eeglab: menu --> Import data
--> from ASCII/float file or Matlab array, a menu opens that allows me to
browse and specify the file I need opened. If I browse for the file and
select it, the first dropdown box in the menu automatically changes to
"Matlab .mat file." To me, this means eeglab is recognizing the file.

If all I do is load the file and select "Ok," I get the 'pop_editset()
erorr: cannot read .mat file 'file path''

Are the channel locations required to open the file data set?
