Dear Carlos,
The eeglab documentation indicates that there are a few techniques that would allow
to cluster specific components of data segments, filter peaks of activity and discard data
wrt latencies.
I'd suggest trying eeg_popicathresh to allow classification and thresholding of specific
components. http://sccn.ucsd.edu/eeglab/allfunctions/pop_icathresh.html
Some other functions to look at are pop_clust (clustering of similar datasets) and eeg_lat2point (to deal with latencies in data segments).
The right sequence would be clustering followed by ica thresholding and convering
latencies to segments.
