Hi Anahita,
Regarding your first question: You are asking how to add the average
of several channels back into the montage as a new channel? I'm afraid
I don't know how to do that. But maybe someone else on the list can
help with that.
For your second question, the only way I know to do that in standard
EEGLAB is to first merge the various files for that subject (using
pop_mergeset() or the menu option in the GUI), and then extract epochs
around that stimulus as usual. But I'm not familiar with STUDY and
ERPLAB, so those might have other methods I don't know about.
