Dear list,

we are pleased to release the Beta version of "EYE-EEG",
a new EEGLAB plugin for simultaneous eye-tracking & EEG.

Recording high-resolution eye movements with the EEG is useful
both in traditional research contexts (e.g., for fixation control,
microsaccade detection, pupillometry) and studies of natural vision
(e.g., fixation-related brain potentials).

EYE-EEG is intended to facilitate joint analyses of both data types.
It adds the following functions to EEGLAB:

-- import and synchronize eye-tracking data (from EyeLink/SMI)
-- add gaze position & pupil size as extra channels
-- control fixation, objectively reject trials with blinks/saccades
-- detect (micro)saccades with an adaptive velocity-based algorithm
-- add saccades & fixations as new time-locking points to EEG.event
-- automatically identify ICA components that covary with gaze
-- compute fixation-related potentials (FRPs)
