[Eeglablist] Electrode Location Software?

Dear Group,
I'm in the process of building a psychophysiology lab for a professor here
at the ICD. Generally, we will be sampling from developmental populations.
I'd like to suggest to the PI that we get a Pohlemus Patriot w/ Stylus to
measure sensor location.
I've previously used the Localizer software from EMSE, and it worked just
fine. The software does have a significant cost, however. I've got some
feedback that the software included with the Patriot system is hard to use
for various reasons, though I haven't used that software personally. I've
also seen that Rhino 5 can be used for 3-D measurement/modeling, and it has
a significant academic discount. One the Mathworks/MATLAB website, It looks
like there is a MATLAB GUI for the Polhemus Fastrak localizer, but it only
works with that system. Though, I'm guessing it could be modified.
What do you use or what would you use for head/electrode measurement? Has
anyone modified or thought about modifying the existing Channel Location
GUI within EEGLAB to record real-time location data?
I'd welcome any thoughts and opinions!
Thanks,
Jake
