[Eeglablist] programmer/analyst position available

*Systems Programmer/Analyst* – This is a full-time position based at
Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, for a project in collaboration with the
University of Michigan Human Neuromechanics Laboratory. The
analyst/programmer will work in collaboration with Army Research Laboratory
Staff and research collaborators under the Collaborative Technology
Alliance on Cognition and Neuroergonomics (http://www.cancta.net/). The
programmer will organize, compile, sort, distribute, and analyze large sets
of electroencephalography and behavioral data from subjects performing
real-world tasks in complicated environments. Data will be collected from
multiple institutes around the world using different experimental
protocols. The new hire will manage large, complex databases providing
access to research partners around the world. The new hire should have
strong technical skills in Matlab, multiple computer operating systems
(including UNIX), Python, Server side technologies, and secure ftp
interfaces. Experience and knowledge of neuroscience, EEG, signal
processing, and psychological experimental procedures is highly desirable.
A B.S. is required with a M.S. or Ph.D. desirable. Travel will be required
to research partners in Michigan, California, Texas, New York, Germany, and
Taiwan. Salary range is $60-85k plus benefits. The initial contract will be
for one year. There will be options to extend the appointment for up to
five additional years.
