[Eeglablist] Empty event field values not allowed in epoched data?

Hi,

I have added events to an EEG dataset, some of which have empty values (e.g. stimulus descriptor variables of baseline trials). This is all fine when the data are continuous, but when I divide them into epochs eeg_checkset fills in all empty values with values from nearby trials.

This is definitely not what I want, is there a reason behind this behaviour?
