Dear EEGLablist members,
I would like to introduce a classification method, IC_MARC, that
distinguishes between independent components of EEG of the following types:
neural components, blinks, lateral eye movements, heart beat artefacts,
muscle artefacts, and mixed/noisy components. The classification method is
included in an EEGLab plugin available at
http://www2.compute.dtu.dk/~lffr/publications/indexpub.php.
The method works with EEGLab versions up to and including 12.0.2.3b. From
then on a problem with a FieldTrip function used by a DIPFIT function that
IC_MARC relies on started occurring.
The method is described in the article “Classification of independent
components of EEG into multiple artifact classes”, available at
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/psyp.12290/abstract.
I hope this plug-in will be useful. Please contact me if you experience any
problems using IC_MARC.
Sincerely,
