*Research Scientist or Postdoctoral Researcher Position*
University of Michigan Human Neuromechanics Laboratory

A position as an Assistant Research Scientist or Postdoctoral Researcher is
available immediately to work on studies involving high-density
electroencephalography (EEG) to examine electrocortical dynamics during
human locomotion. Research projects focus on overcoming technical issues
with motion artifact during human movement, identifying benchmark tests and
standards for new EEG technology, and examining how brain dynamics change
during human locomotion with and without concurrent cognitive tasks.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Engineering,
Neuroscience, Physics, or a related field. They must have strong technical
skills including substantial MATLAB programming experience. Research
experience with human locomotion, EEG, computational neuroscience, and/or
signal processing is highly desirable. Experience with EEGLAB is helpful.
Applicants for the Assistant Research Scientist should have prior
postdoctoral experience, and would be appointed as research faculty at the
University of Michigan if hired. The position is funded under the Army
Research Laboratory Cognition and Neuroergonomics Collaborative Technology
Alliance. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
