Dear Arno,

that I either do not have authority or the server is down.

I've seen this report repeatedly. Maybe their server is indeed down??

Dear Kylie,

with subject eyes closed all movement was annotated during recording and an
eye calibration task recorded prior to task.

Alternatively, use clean_rawdata() plugin developed by Christian Kothe.

this as an epoch ??

You can't use the different length of data chunks for epoching.
Single-trial epoching is also impossible with EEGLAB. If you have minimum
number of boundaries, applying filter is fine.

Run spectopo() function. From GUI, 'Plot' -> 'Channel spectra and maps'

Also check Simon Shlomo-Poil's NBT
