[Eeglablist] Could ICA for clean-up be done within STUDY?

Hello Akshay, quick note below, hope it helps, let us know of your progress!

If you're looking at channels for your STUDY analyses,
you do have the option in the STUDY Channel computation GUI to have the ICs
that are marked bad for each subject removed from the channel level
analyses. You can determine which ones are bad before creating the STUDY.

If you're focusing on analyzing the independent sources that give rise to
the EEG, and which are represented by the Independent Components, then you
should focus on working with the ICs and not the channels. In that case,
you can just "not analyze" the artifactual IC's, and do your STUDY analyses
on the ICs across your subjects and experimental conditions.

You can also sort the ICs into existing or new clusters with STUDY while
reviewing the IC clusters, so in a sense you can select which ones go into
the artifact cluster. I'm not sure if that will select the ICs as bad for
Channel Analyses, but it should, and you can give it a try and see what
happens with a practice file or two.
