Dear All,
How can I export data from EEGlab in an .EDF format while preserving the structure of the data?

Hello Rajyalaksmi, hoping all is well. here's a few notes below, hope you find them useful. Cheers.

You basically need to get the data into matlab, and then after that make EEGLAB read it in as a file. You can try the several Importing options on the EEGLAB gui, such as using the BioSig import. Try/explore the several general importing functions available there in the gui.
Also, google "Import Data eeglab" and "Import Data eeglablist" to get more info and ideas. You may also want to google "Brain Tech import eeglab".
After you give it a try a few more times with no success, I would just turn it your data into a matlab variable, and there I would try to replace build a new EEG structure in matlab around it. Open a normal EEGLAB file that you used when you did the EEGLAB tutorial, and review the EEG structure, as you will have to create a replica of the EEG structure into which you'll put your EEG data matrix.
You can also find out more about the EEG structure (into which your data must go) by googling "EEGLAB data structures". Also, don't forget to search the eeglablist archives for problems similar to your topic, where someone had to do a special import for some kind of eeg data.
You may also want to try several other EEG software programs' import functions, or contact the company who made your EEG system for other options in terms of export or import of the data, or contact any other researcher who has actually analyzed data from that EEG system in matlab or eeglab, and they should have the import worked out already.

Dear all,
I have acquired two EEG signals for a period of one minute each using Brain tech EEG signal acquisition device
the raw data given by this software is not recognized in eeglab so I exported the data into an excel sheet. After extracting the data into excel I am not able to understand how to analyze?
Some one please help me in analyzing the signals and please let me know the parameters to be calculated to verify the similarity of the two signals.
Your help more appreciated..
Thanks in advance
with regards
