[Eeglablist] STUDY clustering plotting options - ERP polarity inverting and amplitude change when reallocating to new cluster

Dear EEGlablist,

When a component is alone in a cluster, and i plot it's ERP, it's amplitude is much larger (>18uV at ~400ms) than when i reallocate it to another cluster which includes other components. It's amplitude reduces dramatically when clustered with other components (i.e. it rescales).

How is it that that the presence of other components in a cluster rescales the newly assigned component?

Thank you!

Josh
