Hi -
I'd like to bring another position in my department to the attention of
interested candidates on this list. Please note this Cognition Search
is distinct from the MRI Center search I posted previously. The closing
dates are also different. Thanks!
University of California, Irvine
Assistant Professor in Cognitive Sciences
The Department of Cognitive Sciences at the University of California,
Irvine (UCI) anticipates making a tenure-track appointment at the
assistant professor level in the area of cognitive modeling to begin
July 1, 2018.
Of particular interest are cognitive scientists who combine an empirical
research program, involving laboratory or real-world behavioral or
neuroscience data, with the development of quantitative analyses and
computational models. Our interest is less in specific areas and methods
than in innovation and excellence in the application of modeling
techniques to data. The successful candidate will interact with a
dynamic and growing community in cognitive, computational, and neural
sciences within the department (http://www.cogsci.uci.edu/).
Interested candidates can find specific application requirements and the
online application at: https://recruit.ap.uci.edu/apply/JPF04185. To
ensure full consideration, applications must be completed by December 1,
2017.
The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative
Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence. All qualified applicants
will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color,
religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin,
disability, age, protected veteran status, or other protected categories
covered by the UC nondiscrimination policy.
