[Eeglablist] AMICA setup

All,I wonder if there has been any further thoughts on this thread.  Like Jumana, I am trying to run AMICA and getting:
No W present, exiting
Reference to non-existent field 'W'.Error in runamica15 (line 873)
    weights = mods.W(:,:,1);Error in pop_runamica (line 239)
    [W,S,mods] = runamica15(datfile,arglist{:});

Error while evaluating uimenu Callback
But I am getting this error message on two Windows 10 machines (with different types of processors but both 64 bits) and one Windows 7 machine.
Thanks for any help on this,Davida

Subject: RE: [Eeglablist] AMICA setup   Hi Jumana,   It does look like there is a compatibility issue with the binary and your work machine. I think it works under Windows 8 and Windows 10, but one possibility is that your work machine is 32 bit, and not 64 bit? The binary requires 64 bit architecture. If it is 64 bit, then there may be something about Windows 8, or some other incompatibility in the processor. Do you know which processor it is? AMD or Intel?   Best, Jason   From: Ahmad, Jumana [mailto:jumana.ahmad at kcl.ac.uk]

Hi and thanks for your reply,
I actually downloaded the binary files recently from the website into the systems 32 folder. I use a windows computer. I'm concerned that as it's a work computer that it could be an access issue as the administrator had to help me save the files there- I do not have higher level administrator rights over the systems 32 folder. Is there anywhere else I can save the binary files?
Apart from adding the binary files and setting the matlab path to the new amica folder, is there anything else that I should be doing?
Best wishes,
Jumana

Subject: RE: [Eeglablist] AMICA setup    Jumana We had the same problem.  We updated the binary files found onhttps://sccn.ucsd.edu/~jason/amica_web.html While this seems to be a simple fix: the file path must not include spaces.  It corrected this problem and ran.
