For reinforcement of the Department of Ergonomics, a postdoctoral fellowship in
Cognitive Modelling / Data Mining / Machine Learning / Computational Neuroscience
is available to be filled as soon as possible.
The position is initially limited to 3 years and can be extended for a further 3 years.
The tasks include the independent planning and execution of neuroscientific research projects in the field of cognitive modelling, model-based evaluation and simulation of cognitive and bioelectrical phenomena.
Our requirements:
Recruitment requirements are a completed degree in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, statistics, biology, or mathematics and a very good doctorate in one of these fields. Knowledge in the research field mentioned above is required. Knowledge of methods in the field of EEG is desirable. Experience in the presentation and publication of scientific results is required.
IfADo is an interdisciplinary institute in the field of labor and occupational research. Basically, the institute has all the methods of cognitive neuroscience at its disposal, as well as a high level of competence ranging from cell biology to occupational medicine. The research work is thus integrated into an interdisciplinary concept. Special attention is paid to the utilization of findings from basic research for real applications in the working environment.
