Lübeck, is seeking to hire a
*Post-doctoral Researcher*
starting by April 2020, initially for 3 years, with the option of
extension. The post-doc is expected to get involved in the lab’s research
projects on empathy, action understanding and aggression and should develop
her/his own line of research within the lab’s research framework.
We are looking for a person with a promising track record in the field of
cognitive neuroscience, who holds a degree in psychology, cognitive
science, physics, or engineering. Expertise in human neuroscience methods
and experience in programing and statistical analyses (MATLAB, R) is
expected. Persons with a background in advanced EEG analysis methods who
are interested in applying this knowledge to social neuroscience questions
are especially welcome to apply.
The position involves teaching seminars in Basic Psychology and Cognitive
Neuroscience (typically 4 hours/week during the semester). As teaching is
primarily in German, candidates are expected to have German language
proficiency or be willing to learn German.
The lab is located at the Center for Brain, Behavior and Metabolism
(CBBM; *cbbm.uni-luebeck.de
<http://cbbm.uni-luebeck.de>*), which offers an excellent and state-of
the-art research environment. At the CBBM, several EEG, an fNIRS-system and
a research dedicated Siemens Skyra 3T MRI are available.

Payment will follow salary group E13 TV‑L (full time), if conditions based
