Dear colleagues,

I hope this email finds you well and enjoying 2020!

I would like to draw your attention to the 2020 IEEE SMC Brain-Machine Interface Workshop, to be held in Toronto, Canada, from October 11-14, 2020. This will mark the 10th anniversary of the Workshop and we will have a number of special events; not to be missed!

The Call for Papers and Call for Special Sessions can be found here: http://musaelab.ca/bmi20/files/CFP_BMI2020.pdf

The deadline to submit Special Session (SS) proposals is ~2 weeks away (Feb. 16th). Proposals should follow the form available here: http://smc2020.org/call-for-special-session/ Please state in the SS title that it is intended for the BMI Workshop. Special Session proposals should have 6-7 papers committed by the Feb. 16th deadline.

Full-length papers themselves (4-6 pages) are only due on April 5th. Please note that accepted and presented papers will appear on IEEExplore. More details about paper submission can be found on the workshop website: http://musaelab.ca/bmi20/smc2020_bmi.html

The workshop will feature a number of invited and keynote speakers, expert panels, hands-on demo sessions, and a BCI hackathon with over $3k in prizes. This, in addition to peer-reviewed scientific papers (last year we had 100 accepted papers)!

I would appreciate if you could circulate the CfP amongst your students and colleagues working on neurotechnologies and related domains. Looking forward to seeing you in Toronto later this year!

Best regards,
