Postdoc position in cognitive neuroscience of ageing - CIMeC, Italy


We will soon open a call in the Attention, Perception and Ageing lab in the Centre for Mind / Brain Sciences, University of Trento (Rovereto, Italy) for a post-doctoral research fellow (junior position) to work with Dr Sara Assecondi (and in collaboration with Veronica Mazza). The fellowship has a duration of 12 months with possibility of extension up to 12 additional months. The successful candidate will join a CARITRO funded project (PI, Prof. Carlo Miniussi) to investigate evaluate various aspects of cognitive functions in healthy older individuals. The project involves, but is not limited to, studying the effect of cognitive training interventions on attention and memory in the elderly. The project will use a combination of behavioral and neuroimaging measures (e.g., fMRI, MEG, EEG, tCS). The research fellow will be mainly involved in the setting-up and running of the experiments and data analysis. Finally, the research fellow will collaborate in drafting scientific articles for submission to international peer-review journals.
