[Eeglablist] EEGLAB Study Function Issues

Hi, all.

We are currently trying to use the EEGLAB study function to analyze clinical data with subjects who have different numbers of trials. We have 1 study group (children with epilepsy) who we are comparing between two conditions: epochs with spikes and epochs of resting state. On an individual level, patients have matached numbers of epochs with spikes and epochs of resting state. However, the number of trials between patients is not matched due to the nature of clinical data. Initially, we were told the study function could not handle different numbers of trial between subjects. We had found that our results remained the same no matter what our p-value was. However, recently we have observed our results change with a varied p-value. We are getting a variety of results using the study function on our data, so our main question is if the study function can handle different numbers of trials between subjects if the within-subject/between condition number of trials is matched.

Thank you for your time.

Jack
