Makoto,
Your plugin looks great. Thanks for creating that for the field. I totally
agree with what John Richards said about the differences among the "LORETA
family" inverse solutions. John has more experience in comparing them. My
own experience is that eLORETA works better for volume models compared to
sLORETA and MNE, as it gets more localized results.  In contrast, it seems
to me that MNE is more popular among researchers using surface models (with
Brainstorm and Freesurfer, etc.) likely due to the fact that MNE favors
solutions with strong surface activation, i.e., no deep sources.

There are a few studies comparing these inverse solutions and their effects
on source-space functional connectivity results.
