Dear colleagues

the "Analysis and Modelling of Complex Data" group (University of Mainz,
Germany) has an open PhD position within the DFG-funded research project
"Neurocognitive mechanisms of interindividual differences in cognitive
performance". The project will test a process model that attempts to
explain how different neurocognitive process parameters (structural
connectivity, functional connectivity, processing speed, working memory
capacity) contribute to differences in intelligence. The project
integrates different data sources (test, behavioral, EEG, and imaging
data) that are highly significant for the current theory discussion in
intelligence research. It overcomes the separation between these
disciplines by combining differential, biopsychological, and
experimental approaches.
