Two positions (Post Doc and PhD) are available at the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors (IfADo, Dortmund, Germany) in the department of Ergonomics.

The PhD position is anchored in a third party funded project on the interaction of walking and visual processing. Mobile EEG will be collected together with motion and eye tracking in both real and virtual environments (gait lab<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.ifado.de/ergonomics/2022/07/27/movement-can-help-with-the-processing-of-visual-information/?noredirect=en_US__;!!Mih3wA!Gp1ZSiLJ2Ioi4775U5tehDq7rqbqUOTOl-UA2mJcoeYA8YSfwP6_q8CjUv0yUbV7e17zINaivFzg1yja38FGVvQ$ >). The goal is to better understand the mechanisms of how walking influences vision and vice versa. The position will be part of a small but experienced group on mobile EEG at IfADo.
The PostDoc position is in the area of computational neuroscience. One field of responsibility will be the analysis of complex data from a large-scale longitudinal study (Dortmund Vital Study<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.researchprotocols.org/2022/3/e32352__;!!Mih3wA!Gp1ZSiLJ2Ioi4775U5tehDq7rqbqUOTOl-UA2mJcoeYA8YSfwP6_q8CjUv0yUbV7e17zINaivFzg1yja-AwS22Y$ >). In addition, machine learning approaches in EEG analytics will be further developed in other contexts and evaluated in an application-oriented context.
The positions fit into a broad and international team in the field of cognitive neuroergonomics.
