Dear EEG community,

Please see the announcement below for Ph.D. positions that are available in
*Psychology* or *Neuroscience* at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I am
recruiting 1-2 students to join the Language, Aging, & Knowledge
Electrophysiology lab (LAKELab), which is a part of the Psychological and
Brain Sciences program in the Psychology department. Students would also
have the option of doing a Ph.D. through the Interdisciplinary Program in
Neuroscience.

Interested students are welcome to reach out over email (
melissa.troyer at unlv.edu). Thank you in advance for sharing this information
with your students. (My apologies for cross-posting.)

Best,

Melissa Troyer

*The Language, Aging, and Knowledge Electrophysiology (LAKE) lab* of *Melissa
Troyer, Ph.D.*, at the University of Nevada Las Vegas invites applications
for Ph.D. positions in *Psychology* or *Neuroscience*, starting in Fall
2024.

Troyer’s research investigates how people make use of their existing
knowledge and experiences to anticipate, make sense of, and learn from
language in real time. A particular focus is on how knowledge, language,
and learning change across the adult lifespan. To study these topics,
Troyer uses cognitive electrophysiology (EEG/ERP) and behavioral measures.
