Hi everyone,

I start using EEGLAB on a Linux server, the version is 2024.0. I just
installed it and I am not sure if I missed something.

I try to load an existing dataset with the GUI, and then I see error message
as below:

pop_loadset(): loading file
/data/projects/tACS_word/analysed/TES01S.set_recode.set ...

Reading float file
'/data/projects/tACS_word/analysed/TES01S.set_recode.fdt'...

Error using strfind

PATTERN must be a string scalar or character vector.

Error in contains (line 36)

tf = ~cellfun(@isempty, strfind(s, pattern));

Error in eeglab_new (line 48)

        && ~contains(LASTCOM, functionsEEGLAB) ... % when using one of the
functions in

        the list, do not create new datasets

Error while evaluating Menu Callback.

Did I miss something that I should install on Linux? I have never used Linux
as I used to use windows. I tried loading different files, and I see the
same error message.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,

Pancy
