Hi Leora,
You have to add the channel to EEG.data before editing channel info. If you enter a different number of channels in edit channels from the number in the data, it deletes all the channel info (pretty drastic).
Best,
Jason

Subject: [Eeglablist] Rereferencing Issues
Hello,
After clicking edit, channel locations, and going to the last channel, clicking append, then typing in all the Cz info, I pressed set reference then okay. When I try to open the data again and find channels, all channels have now been labeled “E”. Why is this occurring?
Thanks.
