- Proficiency in computer programming, including MATLAB and Python.
- Familiarity with command line interfacing on Windows and Linux.
- Proficiency in signal processing (FIR and IIR filters, time and
frequency domain analyses, wavelet decomposition) and machine learning
(unsupervised learning, feature engineering, supervised classification and
regression methods based on neural networks).
*Preferred skills:*
- Experience working with human participants to collect and analyze
neurophysiological data (e.g., EEG, EMG, and TMS) would be a strong
advantage.
- Candidates with prior experience in using one or more of the following
software tools would be preferred:
- MATLAB-based EEG data analysis tools such as EEGLAB/Fieldtrip
- Python-based packages such as Scikit-learn/MNE-Python/NiLearn/NiTime
- Computational modeling tools such as SIMNIBS or ROAS
