Your appraisal of the ICA decomposition and reassurance is very much appreciated!

While I was still initially wary of the full-rank ICA results looking a little too perfect, I compared the activity power spectra and continuous data plot/ERP image for a few components and their seemingly corresponding channels, as well as the channel data (scroll) and component activations (scroll).  I'm not sure why I didn't think to compare these before, but it does appear that the ICA algorithm is indeed separating different sources.

Additionally, thanks for picking up on the lack of channel interpolation in my preprocessing pipeline - this slipped my mind because none of the data I used to develop the pipeline had channels that needed to be rejected (including the data pictured in the image from my previous email). Regardless, I will add that step now so it doesn't get missed.
