Dear EEGLAB users,

EEGLAB version 13 is now available. In addition to some new group analysis features, the main new addition to version 13 is the capability of downloading and installing extensions directly from the EEGLAB graphic interface (we have dropped the term plugin since a large number of plugins are complex extensions to EEGLAB). Other changes in revision 13 compared to version 12 are listed at http://sccn.ucsd.edu/wiki/EEGLAB_revision_history_version_13

The list of EEGLAB extensions is available at http://sccn.ucsd.edu/wiki/EEGLAB_Extensions_and_plug-ins

If you have an EEGLAB extension/plugin you would like to see included in the EEGLAB extension manager, please submit it at this page http://sccn.ucsd.edu/eeglab/plugin_uploader/upload_form.php

EEGLAB allows you to set a version for your extension and EEGLAB users are able to see if you have released an update for your extension. EEGLAB also tracks the number of downloads for each extension and sort them by order of popularity in its extension manager.

If you are using EEGLAB group analysis features (STUDY), you are strongly recommended to always use the latest EEGLAB revision. Scripts written in older (including very old) versions of EEGLAB should be fully functional in newer versions. If you are only processing datasets, older versions of EEGLAB are acceptable although important bugs are only currently only been fixed in EEGLAB 12 and 13.

Thank you for your interest in EEGLAB and thanks also to all of the anonymous users and contributors who have reported and/or fixed issues or implemented new methods in EEGLAB.
