Dear Alex,

I use Matlab 7.5 on FedoreCore6, and it works fine. It was three years ago
when I decided to install Linux on my machine because I had the same
problem as you do. Installing MATLAB on Linux took me a couple of days but
since then I have experienced no memory limitation problem.
