The Neuropsychophysiology Laboratory at the University of Porto (Portugal)
(http://www.fpce.up.pt/labpsi/) is offering a Research Assistant position on the
project “The Neural Bases of The P2 Event Related Potential in Patients with
Schizophrenia”.  The contract will be valid for a 27 months period.

The Neuropsychophysiology Laboratory is a small but growing research unit,
mainly focused on the study of the biological bases of schizophrenia and
psychopathy.
It is equipped with a portable 32 EEG/ERP unit and a high-density EGI system.


Candidates must have a Masters or equivalent degree in psychology, biology or
biomedical engineering and strong interest in pursuing a career in the social
affective and cognitive neurosciences field. Enrolment in a PhD program is a
possibility.

Training in research methods in the behavioural sciences and statistics and
experience in EEG/ERP data recording and analysis are preferential conditions.

The Research Assistant will participate on all stages of the project
(experimental setup, recording and analysis of EEG/ERP data, communication of
results, equipment maintenance) as well as parallel laboratory tasks.
