[Eeglablist] global field power

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the global field power analysis. In the 
eeglablist two analyses have been suggested (14 /25 Feb 2008). Using the 
standard deviation or using a function based on Lehman and Skrandies. It 
seems that the Lehman and Skrandies analysis is more common. Can both 
comparably be used to analyse the GFP?
