[Eeglablist] cannot import data with format 'edf'

Dear experts,

I have a set of EEG data with 'edf' format which i try to import into  
EEGLab. However, I can not find the option in 'file' with
"file>import data>" from european data format" as it shows in the  
tutorial.  What I have got in my eeglab are : "file>import data>"from  
Biosemi BDF file" or  "file>import data>"from EDF/EDF + /GDF file", or  
"file>import data>"from BDF + /EDF file".

I tried to choose one of these three options... although they data can  
be imported, all the other options , such as "edit", 'plot' cannot be  
used for analysis. May I ask what is the problem?
