[Eeglablist] Epoching Data

Hi

 

We have been epoching continuous EEG data (30s epochs) for sleep
classification through spectral analysis of the epochs.

 

My question would be if EEGLAB does some  sort of individual  epoch
windowing (multiplying the epoch by a tapering window such as the hanning
one) prior to the spectral analysis of each epoch, since upon on widowing
the epochs edges transitions become reduced.
