[Eeglablist] needing numerical output from EEGLAB

I wish to get numerical output from EEGLAB for, e.g., time-frequency
decomposition for selected components, perhaps other results as well

is it necessary to write a Matlab script to do this?

Can someone point me to a tutorial or discussion how to accomplish this?
