In fact, there was one bug that went unnoticed before (the new "Load
approach" button did not load the approach under some circumstances) --
fixed now.
We used the chance to add some of the remaining missing features (namely
continued support for Mac 32bit and inclusion of some components that were
previously omitted from the compiled versions).
The download has been updated: ftp://sccn.ucsd.edu/pub/bcilab
Apologies,
Christian

> Dear EEGLAB community,

> we are pleased to announce the release of BCILAB 1.0, a MATLAB-based
> toolbox for research in Brain-Computer Interfaces and cognitive monitoring
> / cognitive state assessment.

> This release fixes bugs that were reported for the previous 1.0 beta.
> Also, some new GUIs, a BrainProducts plugin provided by the MITRE
> Corporation, a better cluster workflow as well as standalone builds of the
> toolbox have been included. Notes for Windows users: Try to unzip the
> archive with a fast program (e.g., 7-zip) instead of the OS tool unless
> you're willing to wait for a long time. Also, there is almost no point in
> trying to do actual data analysis on a 32-bit Windows since it has only max
> 3GB of memory available (unless you are working with tiny data or are just
> doing online processing).
>
> As always, if you have a bug report please do not hesitate to email me (or
> the list) to get it fixed as soon as possible.
> Also, since the toolbox is biased towards advanced research, please let us
> know if there are areas where things are not as easy to comprehend as they
> should be (i.e., you're running into a brick wall trying to understand one
> or another feature).
