[Eeglablist] extract certain frequency from the EEG channel

Dear List,

I would really appreciate any opinion of what would be the best way to
extract certain frequency from the dataset of EEG recordings with the
boundaries as narrow as possible (+-0.5Hz)?

In frequency domain it would be a bandpass filter that is reversed notch
filter but there is no such option in EEGLAB. Which of the offered filters
would be the most appropriate and with what parameters?

I am aware of the fact that any filter would distort data in certain way so
it would be good to have as minimum as possible distortion.
