[Eeglablist] Problems with triggers with nihon-kohden Neurofax 1200

Once Nihon Koden provided us a very poor solution, which is to input an
attenuated TTL trigger to one of the EEG channels. They said it works, but
actually it introduced terrible noise across all channels (probably because
TTL trigger and EEG have different ground). So I was very disappointed.
Later I asked the other guy in Nihon Koden and they told me about the
external digital trigger port (which is different from analog recording
channels) for $4000 or around.

You know, another possibility is that you use Lab Streaming Layer (LSL;
developed by Christian Kothe, my colleague in SCCN) to synchronize EEG
recorder and paradigm generator.

I'm not sure if LSL accepts Nihon Koden data stream (you may want to write
Christian about it). If it works it is a perfect solution for free.
