[Eeglablist] EEG parameterization

Dear list,
I have three questions
First, I would like to know how to parameterize an EEG signal, to describe it in form of a set of relevant parameters.
Second, what are exactly these characteristic parameters which can be estimated from a physiological signals?
Third, Is there any methods that calculate the propagation of the EEG wave fromlocation X1 at t1 to another location X2 at t + dt?
